EASA Zero to Airline Transport Pilot License
During Zero to ATPL (A), you will complete the theoretical courses for PPL(A), IR(A), CPL(A) and MEL(A).
Most theory is completed remotely through our Worldwide Campus with live virtual classrooms, e-learning, and access to a testing database—so you can study efficiently from anywhere.

Flight Requirements
By the end of flight training, you'll log at least 200 hours total time including:
- 100 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC)
- 20 hours VFR cross-country as PIC
- 5 hours night flying including cross-country
- 5 hours on a complex airplane

PPL Theory
≈ 6 weeksFoundation knowledge covering Air Law, Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance & Planning, Human Performance, Meteorology, Navigation, Operational Procedures, and Principles of Flight.
ATPL Theory
≈ 26 weeksAdvanced theoretical knowledge for airline operations including 14 EASA ATPL subjects. Covers airline procedures, advanced navigation, meteorology, and operational management.
Night Rating (NR)
≈ 3 daysExtends PPL privileges to night VFR operations. Includes night navigation, emergency procedures, and visual illusions specific to night flying.
Instrument Rating (IR)
≈ 6 weeksQualify for IFR flight operations in instrument meteorological conditions. Master instrument procedures, approaches, and navigation systems.
Multi-Engine Piston (MEP)
≈ 3 weeksExtend privileges to multi-engine aircraft. Learn engine-out procedures, asymmetric flight, and complex aircraft systems management.
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
≈ 3 weeksFinal step to become a professional pilot. Achieve the precision and skill required for commercial flight operations and airline careers.
Entry Requirements
Minimum Age
17 years old minimum at the start of training.
Medical
Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Academics
Be proficient in English, Math & Physics.
